SKF Certified Rebuilder of Electric Motors

SKF is the world’s largest bearing manufacturer and is active in 130 countries. The certification program is a collaboration between repair shops, SKF Authorised Distributors and SKF. It enhances the expertise of qualified rebuilders through training, equipment and technology upgrades, enforcement of exacting standards and best in class work practices. Technicians complete extensive training in electric motor analysis, bearing installation, lubrication systems, condition monitoring and root-cause analysis, giving them the skills they need to perform optimal diagnoses and repairs. All SKF Certified Rebuilders must complete regular audits to ensure compliance with rigorous standards and must also demonstrate continuous improvement and competence development.

These requirements translate into longer, more reliable motor service life plus enhanced performance and profitability. 

 

Lenze Ltd Performance Partner

Based in Germany, Lenze are global specialists in motion-centric automation. They manufacture and supply geared motors, inverter motor drives, complete automation systems, engineering services and tools from a single source.

Westin Drives are the only company in the UK to be recognised by Lenze as a Performance Partner. We provide expert advice and support in developing new machines and systems, or retrofits to existing equipment, and distribute the full range of inverters, geared motors and spares.
