But occasionally, as with this old Brook Crompton model – which had been made in Huddersfield – they prove to be beyond repair.
In this case, it was not possible to replace the old unit with a motor from a manufacturer's standard range.
It had to be specially built to suit the requirements of the application. So we supplied a customised IP26 electric motor manufactured by German specialist Menzel. A unique solution.
