Non-flaking paint stipulated in motor repair

A customer stipulated the use of specialised non-flaking paint – suitable for food production environments – on an electric motor and motor gearbox sent for repair.

Standard coatings were not an option, as durability and hygiene were key concerns.

The motor gearbox underwent a thorough repair, which resolved the main issue of oil leaks. As the motor was deemed beyond economical repair, it was replaced with a WEG motor from stock.

Both were prepared and finished with the non-flaking paint.
